A spin-to-win popup (also called a lucky wheel or wheel of fortune) lets shoppers enter their email for a chance to spin a wheel and win a discount. The gamified experience makes people far more likely to opt in than a plain signup form.
Two psychological triggers do the work: the fun of playing a game and the sense of having "won" a reward. Because the visitor earns their discount, they feel more invested in using it — which lifts both opt-in rates and redemption rates. It's one of the most effective email-capture formats in ecommerce.
